We have been asked to hold a FREE National Traffic Incident Management Training Course, including a virtual reality tabletop exercise using RealScene technology, on Thursday evening, October 24, 2024, beginning promptly at 1800 hours at Summerdale Town Hall. Since 2019, over 270 United States Emergency Responders have been struck and killed while working at roadway incident scenes. This training will focus on steps you and your fellow emergency responders can take to help protect yourself at roadway incidents.
This training will be conducted by Todd Leiss, Deputy Director of Training for the Emergency Responder Safety Institute - www.respondersafety.com, which offers FREE online training for emergency responders through US Fire Administration and Homeland Security Grants.
